Online Learning Certificate Programs: Basics of Supervision & Microsoft Excel 2016 Intermediate

We are pleased to announce that two new Online Learning Certificate programs are available to prepare CSEA-represented and M/C NYS employees to advance their careers or gain extra knowledge to stay competitive in their current positions. Online Learning Certificate programs allow employees to take a series of online courses on a single topic.

To register, CSEA or M/C employees must first apply for a Partnership Online Learning License in the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS). After receiving the license, employees can register in SLMS for the Online Learning Certificate Program of their choice.

Basics of Supervision – Participants will gain an understanding of the responsibilities involved in being a supervisor.

Microsoft Excel 2016 Intermediate – Participants will explore formatting, data manipulation, and formula usage.

Eligible employees may apply between now and July 15, 2024. To earn a certificate, participants must successfully complete all required courses by July 16, 2024.

Please note that supervisory approval is required before you take training during your work hours.

Space in these statewide programs is limited. If you are interested, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
